1. Technique: Use a "watch-winding" motion (alternating 90-degree clockwise and counter-clockwise turns) to advance the file toward the apex.

2. Filing: Can also be used in a vertical filing motion to smooth and enlarge the canal walls.

3. Preparation: Must be thoroughly cleaned and autoclaved before first-time use and between patient procedures.
